A Virtual Reality Tool to Help Wedding Planners

Planners and couples can now experience their event before it happens thanks to the first ever virtual reality tool released by Prismm (formerly Allseated). By using special virtual reality goggles, planners and other wedding professionals can now virtually tour their future reception room, complete with furniture, in a realistic simulation.

This video demonstrates how it works.

VR is the latest in Allseated’s tools, which include scaled floor plans of tens of thousands of venues across the U.S. as well as guest lists, seating arrangements, timelines, and 3D design capabilities. The company is used in 10 percent of all corporate and social events in the U.S. and has more than 100,000 users.

“Experiencing the event before it happens enables a much better planning process and will give much more power to event professionals,” said Sandy Hammer, co-founder of Allseated. “Our new VR offering breaks the mold of traditional efficiency tools and helps our users improve the way they plan and deliver world-class events.”
