As a Senior Data Engineer at Prismm, you will play a pivotal role in designing the future of our data and create the backbone that enables Prismm to push the boundaries of user experience.

The Role

Creating and leading all data pipelines, prioritizing data integrity and efficiency. If you are looking to make a large impact, this role centers you as an integral part of our development team. You will lead the development, performance, quality, and scaling of our data pipelines and data architecture. You will need to work independently while contributing to team decisions.

You will assess and experiment with tools that improve data quality company wide, that help the company discover data, assess quality, explore usage, and utilize data to make critical business decisions.

You will create rapidly developing, next-generation scalable, flexible, and high-performance data pipelines.

You will solve issues with data and data pipelines, prioritizing based on customer impact, acting as an intermediary for problems, with both technical and non-technical audiences.

You will promote and drive impactful and innovative engineering solutions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Experience designing systems E2E and knowledge of concepts (ci/cd, deployment, caching, NoSQL, etc.)
• Proven knowledge of NodeJS-TypeScript / Python / Scala
• Experience with big data technologies and data platforms (e.g. Spark, Kafka, Athena)
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL/ELT pipelines
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written

Advantage

• Experience with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MS-SQL etc.
• Experience with schema design and data modeling
• You have built production data pipelines in the cloud, setting up data-lake and server-less solutions
• Strong SQL skills, with experience in data modeling and query optimization
• Experience with Azure
