The Plaza New York

OVERVIEW

Since it first opened in 1907, the Plaza New York hotel has become a landmark in its own right – representing the pinnacle of New York City hospitality and hosting the highest echelons of society from world leaders to stars of screen and stage. But even with such a storied history, the Plaza had to adapt to changing times.

THE CHALLENGE

Their antiquated 2D diagram system did not have the functionality for clients to properly visualize their event in a way that would persuade them to choose the Plaza.
Their ability to showcase the grandeur of their spaces was hindered by photographs or required an in-person site visit, which slowed the selling process.
Even for in-person site visits, the spaces could only be shown as-is, not how they could be.

THE SOLUTION

The Prismm platform enables clients to view and select their space remotely, enabling the Plaza to realize incremental revenue streams.
The event planning tools resulted in a significant reduction in time spent diagramming, iterating, and managing floorplans, thereby reducing labor costs per event, and increasing the total number of events that can be managed.
